Nick “Shpeshal” Baker claimed on a recent XboxEra podcast episode that he holds a list of older Activision Blizzard games that will become backwards compatible for the Xbox One and the Xbox Series S/X. Unfortunately, Shpeshal declined to reveal anything on his list. But, he did clarify that fans shouldn’t expect anything with licensing issues like Deadpool and other games published by Activision that you can no longer buy. Even if we rule out licensed properties from Hasbro and Marvel, Activision Blizzard’s coffers are deep enough that the list could literally go on forever....

What Is Minecraft Dungeons? Minecraft Dungeons is a cooperative dungeon crawler spin-off of Minecraft. It was released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One on May 26, 2020, after being delayed from its initial release date of April 2020 due to the pandemic. Minecraft Dungeons is set in the same world as Minecraft. However, they are wildly different from each other. They differ on the base gameplay in that the original sandbox game is an open-world sandbox while Minecraft Dungeons is a hack-and-slash dungeon crawler in an isometric perspective....

One of the first leakers to get people talking about Horizon Forbidden West ahead of The Game Awards is “The Snitch”. The reliable insider recently leaked a screenshot of the map of San Francisco, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. Fans later speculated that the ever-cryptic tweeter is telling us about a DLC for Forbidden West. Insider Gaming later doubled down on the news by saying that the DLC will be called “Burning Shores” and will arrive in April next year....

The follow-up came in 2007, named National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets, after which the series has stayed dormant. We have now gone over 15 years since the last installment of the franchise, but it looks like that is about to change. A new Disney+ exclusive show called National Treasure: Edge of History is currently airing season 1. Variety reports that Netflix has canceled the single-camera workplace comedy after just 10 episodes. The series featured an ensemble cast led by Randall Park and Melissa Fumero but this still wasn’t enough. We shouldn’t feel surprised that Netflix canceled “Blockbuster”. All jokes aside, the streamer has been on a cost-cutting spree lately, putting even popular shows on the chopping block. Thus, Blockbuster, a show that never really cracked the platform’s weekly Top 10, was on its way out as soon as it premiered....

Apparently, some people believe that the developers of the Mortal Kombat and Injustice fighting game series are working on a Marvel fighting game next, with an official announcement coming soon. Is the NetherRealm Marvel Fighting Game Confirmed? NetherRealm is one of the most predictable developers in the video game industry. At least, as far as their release schedules go. Now, it appears that they’ve given Paramount Pictures enough reason to greenlight a sequel that will be here in just a little over a year following Scream 5’s premiere. Scream 5’s success came as a total shock to a lot of people. After several production delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the requel, as the movie calls it, finally hit theaters on January 14 and stabbed its way to the top of the box office, and became the first film to oust Spider-Man: No Way Home....

Case in point, he has been accused of using racial slurs in the past. He was also alleged to have engaged in inappropriate and sexual behavior with underaged individuals as well. However, the most recent accusation comes from Seth Francois, a former Vlog Squad member, who claimed that he was sexually assaulted and pressured into making non-consensual sexual content....

As if to remind everybody that Disney still remembers where everything started, the streaming service dropped a trailer for its live-action adaptation of Pinocchio. Naturally, fans picked up on it - for better or for worse. Pinocchio is Disney’s second-ever animated feature-length film. Due to the popularity of the 1940 classic film, most have associated the property with Disney. However, Pinocchio is actually the protagonist of a children’s novel, The Adventures of Pinocchio, by Carlo Collodi from Florence, Tuscany, back in 1883....

If it’s any consolation, Sony isn’t alone. Microsoft didn’t lose Game Pass subscribers but it hasn’t grown at the expected rate. Then again, this downslide is far from expectations after Sony hyped the “improvements” it made to the service. Keep in mind, the intent of the reboot is to stop the recent trend of subscriber numbers falling. Instead, the opposite has happened. Of course, Sony doesn’t need to go back to the drawing board....

Instead, you should ask other players to trade one of these Pokemon to you if you want a different starter Pokemon (and their evolutions) besides the starter Pokemon you chose. In terms of overall graphics, using the same in-game engine as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare seems to have served Vanguard well. However, despite the engine change, Vanguard is being plagued by the same visibility issues that are also present in Black Ops - Cold War. This is definitely not a good sign for Vanguard as players are also complaining about how “boring” the game’s take on the battle royale formula is....

The Oden is one of the most powerful weapons in Modern Warfare (and by extension, Warzone) when it comes to DPS (Damage Per Second). It is a heavy hitter, but not a lot of players choose this Assault Rifle due to its high recoil. Premium subscribers (Deluxe in some regions) of the new PS Plus will have access to a catalog of PlayStation classics dating back to PSOne and PSP. Sony said that some of the games will come with improved frame rates, higher quality resolution, and a feature that allows players to save progress at any time or rewind the game. The company didn’t disclose which games will have the enhanced visuals or these time manipulation features, which is incidentally already included in the Nintendo Switch Online service....

Who is Valkyrie? As previously mentioned, Respawn Entertainment dropped a new Stories from the Outlands video. Titled Northstar, the all-new episode dives deep into the in-game lore. In particular, the eight-minute-long visual feast acts as promotional material for the upcoming Legacy update, as well as the Apex Legend’s newest playable character named Valkyrie. Not much is known about Valkyrie as of the moment. However, her arrival might just confirm the earlier rumors of more Titanfall content coming to Apex Legends....
