According to Stranger Things’ executive producer Shawn Levy, season 4 is coming “quite soon.” In an interview with Variety, Levy explained that the extended period between Season 3 and Season 4 isn’t all because of the pandemic. He explained that they decided to go “much bigger” for Season 4, shooting in places like Lithuania, Georgia, and New Mexico. This would make the upcoming season of Stranger Things the biggest yet.

When is the premiere date of Stranger Things season 4?

Most fans expected Netflix to drop news about the fourth season of Stranger Things back on May 6. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the case. Instead, a teaser for another teaser was all that was released. If it’s any consolation, the said teaser did hint at the survival of a character that most believe has already passed away. Now, as for the actual premiere date of Stranger Things Season 4, Levy has mentioned when an announcement could come. According to an interview with Collider’s Steve Weintraub during the press day for his latest project Free Guy, Levy revealed that part of the answer to when Stranger Things Season 4 will air will come by the time Free Guy premieres on August 13. This seems in line with what David Harbour said on Jimmy Kemmel. The actor who plays Jim Hopper in Stranger Things revealed that the show’s production will wrap up by August 2021. If Stranger Things Season 4 is announced soon, we can expect it to premiere in late 2021 or early 2022.
